The Sacred Womb
Envision that all the wombs of the world are deeply respected as the portal between spirit and form, and are honored and protected with absolute reverence and love.
As a woman and a womb-bearer, I call out to all of my sisters who are hurting right now.
With grief, confusion, and rage, I place my heart on the altar of the feminine that moves through us all.
I thank you, my sisters, who are feeling the heartbreak, grief, anger, and rage with me during these times.
I thank you, my sisters, for letting your sacred tears and holy fire rise through your voice to speak out, even when your voice shakes.
You are not alone.
Honestly, my voice feels vulnerable right now.
We are in times of great division.
And, I cannot be silent.
I am a stand for women being able to consciously choose when they continue their lineage, and with whom. For this right to be taken away infringes on her free will, trespasses on her sacred place as a lineage weaver, and transgresses on the rites/rights of the sacred womb.
This doesn't just impact women. It impacts families. It impacts lineages.
On behalf of all our womb-bearing ancestors who were forced into birth...
On behalf of all our feminine ancestors whose voices were silenced...
On behalf of all the women in our lineages who were mocked, scolded, or hunted down as witches for their feminine expression…
We raise our voices as a force of Love and Truth.
We rise together through the Love in our hearts and the Truth of our wombs.
For the womb is a bridge between worlds. It is a landing trip for souls to come into bodies. Its is the bridge between the ancestors and future generations.
The womb is the sacred giver of life. Our ancestors knew this, and our feminine ancestors knew when they didn’t have the safety, resources or desire to bring further life into the world.
Lord knows the world needs the Truth of the Great Mother right now.
And the Truth of the Great Mother is that she is Sovereign. She decides.
She is not ruled over by any being or any external force, being, or entity, nor is she told what to do.
(Especially not by old white men in office.)
For the womb is a bridge between worlds. It is a landing trip for souls to come into bodies. Its is the bridge between the ancestors and future generations.
In a world where women are told not to listen to the wisdom of our bodies, intuition, or desire, it is a revolution and to take a stand for our bodies and the sacred womb.
I am a stand for women being able to consciously choose when they continue their lineage, and with whom. For this right to be taken away infringes on her free will, trepassses on her sacred place as a lineage weaver, and transgresses on the rites/rights of the sacred womb.
The Great Mother is strong. She is loving. She is infinite. She is fierce. She is the Source of Life, and as such, she has an intimate relationship with Death.
And She lives within each of us, within each of our precious wombspaces.
I trust She will prevail. I trust We will prevail.
In Truth and in Love.
Until then, my heart and womb ache for all the pain and injustice that will be perpetrated against women.
Free the Womb.
Free the Feminine.
It is time.
